If we only had one last day on Earth, what would we do? In Lucía's and Abril's case, who had a difficult romantic relationship when they were younger and naive, the answer is simple: they decide to meet up for the first time in their lives to spend their last day alive together. They don't know what'll happen or what they'll say, but they know they need to see each other at least one time.
"Lucía y el meteorito" is the first step I take as a film director to write and produce the kind of movies I want to be able to watch on screen. Although in the last years many films with LGBT+ characters have been produced, these tend to be reduced to the characters' sexual/romantic identity. Even if this is a drama shortfilm, the final objective is to get new fantasy, animation, science fiction, adventure and every other type of films, that'll include these characters in main roles, and that they won't be merely reduced to their sexuality.
This shortfilm is my final degree project, starring my fellow actresses and produced by my classmates, and the final intention is to send it to different shortfilm festivals, both LGBT+ and others.
About the sparkles
All rewards will be sent (or given in hand, if it's possible and we pact it this way) between February and March, since the shortfilm will be filmed in January.
The postcards with the shorftilm's stills will be sent from April, when it'll be filmed and edited.
All the money collected will be spent uniquely and exclusively for the production of the shortfilm:
