Through the years of my life and since I´m working as a singer I have had a dream: be able to release an album as a tribute to my "childhood decade" , a tribute to 80´s, those magic and unrepeatable years, "fabulous eighties", in an american style and, yes, of course, in english... not with versions, but with original songs.
SLEEPING IN THE CORRIDOR
It´s a journey not only through time, but through myself , my life experiences, ,about how I see life in general…..where nostalgia of what it was mixes with my own stories of love, heartbreak, music, promises, truths (albeit half), sorrows, joy, loneliness, friendship, tenderness, hate, forgiveness, compassion, gratitude……at last! the human itself……and one dream……the dream…..that dream…..
¿Why “Sleeping in the corridor”?
Well, the song called "sleeping in the corridor" would explain it, but i wanted it also “baptized" the whole album, because I felt so many times that way, like waiting in a corridor, waiting for my turn, the moment, maybe a little push, a friendly hand, a hope, a twist of fate, an auspicious planetary conjunction……or (why not?) a Tv contest……something (whatever) to make possible (at last) the arrival of my moment, “the moment”……
And here I am, with the same enthusiasm and innocence as a child , watching Rockopop on tv while my brothers and sister saw cartoons …….and thinking about, listening and still feeling Cindy Lauper, Madonna, Tina Turner, Tracy Chapman, George Michael, Sade, Michael Jackson, Simply red, that ballad of Jennifer Rush…..and many others that I have left on the shelf now……
The above…..nostalgia and autobiography equally….something new, something old, ……
And now all we need to be seen is, in an "audiovisual" media, even some advertising industry may be, perhaps, maybe, a little bit wrong (if not obsolete), and music , rather than by sight , "get into us" by where it really has always done it , namely (and by order): ears, heart, and (in any case), entrails…..
And well, I guess roughly, this is all….or... a bit of ALL.

WHAT I WANT TO DO
Achieve a minimum for mastering, a cool album edition, and further distribution because the manufacture costs are always better the grater the production , for wich we need the approximate amount of 800€ (mastering), and 2000 euros for a digipack edition ( 17 - page booklet) and its distribution by mail , and most broadcast, promo, etc…..
WHERE MONEY GOES
The recording is assumed by several members of the group, but the mastering, editing and distribution are the destination of your contributions.
AT WHAT POINT IS THE PROJECT NOW ?*
The album is already recorded, pending final mixtures, mastering and edition.
WHY THROUGH VERKAMI ?
It seems to us a very democratic way leaving the results in hands of the public, without unconfortable intermediaries.
