"La Bassa - Animal Shelter"

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting animal welfare through love and respect that takes in abandoned and rescued animals from laboratories and all other different types of animal exploitation.

Absolutely all the animals that live in the shelter have been rescued, they all have a special story and now live a dignified and quiet life until they are adopted or die naturaly. They are never sold, exchanged or used for consumption, exploitation or experimentation.

Currently, the shelter "La Bassa - Animal Shelter" houses over 300 animals including pigs, horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, cats and dogs.

Its from this awareness and respect for all living beings, that the educational project "Petits Voladors" was born, with a deep desire to "educate to love" and respect all forms of life.

"Petits Voladors - L'Escoleta"

Is a school for infant children with a privileged environment and with constant contact with shelter animals. There is also a clear objective of building a world that is more human through ideals that are used to create sensitivity and respect. Today, the schoolhouse has 26 voladors petits that are growing up and co-existing peacefully alongside all the shelter animals.

And we continue to grow bigger, both rescued animals and the families that opt for this educational project.

For this reason we now have to move to a larger place where we can continue living and growing together .We need the help of all those who believe in this project so we can continue to make this dream come true. The first step is the new farm fence and we need to reach €11,500

Where we will use your contributions..

If we can achieve to raise €11,500 we will start work within one week .the fence could take up to 15 days but from the minute its finished the animals will begin a new life in a much bigger and better space.

If we exceed this amount and we get say €2,000 more, we could make a specific fence for each family of animals, thus enabling us to rescue larger animals like bulls and cows, these kind of rescues have been proposed before but due to lack of space its been imposible in the past.

If we achieve €8,500 more than our goal and we succeed in obtaining €20,000 then we could also lay the foundation stone of the future Little School and start the building project

about the rewards

The awards will be presented in February 20 party, inside the Bassa.It will be a celebration that will last from 11:00 to 19:00 pm and in which all patrons will receive free entry.

Party Maecenas / Expected Calendar

For all the patrons we will prepare a party on February 20 with free admission for all of those who have contributed to our enlargement.

There will be a charity market, with a visit to the animal shelter (in small groups for the welfare of the animals).There will also be family activities such as storytelling, face painting, concerts, etc ...

It will be a fun party!!! There will be a vegan meal at a very affordable price and a drinks bar.
