What is Riski Lavango
It is a new edutainment game. It is designed for players to learn best practices and to be aware of the dangers of avalanches in sports and recreational activities in the snow.
It is ideal for lovers of snow, those of us who are introduced to sports and activities in the mountains or those who are curious to learn through playing or become aware of some dangers lurking in the mountains.
With the continuing progress being made in the different possible variations of skiing, off-piste, snowmobiling and snowshoeing, it’s best to be prepared. Good attitudes and good practices are a guarantee for life (nada te lo garantiza ), making us more adaptable, competent and resilient.
It is a game that promotes good behaviour. It does not pursue the learning of technical nor advanced knowledge, but that of recommended values and skills.
Recommended for a wide range of ages, playing Riski Lavango is a fun and rewarding experience.
Once the players have mastered reading comprehension they are able to play independently. Otherwise, you only need to be helped by a mentor whilst playing. It is recommended that players from ages 9 or 10 years should be able to enjoy playing independently.
It is a game you can start playing with or without prior knowledge. There are no questions.
The prototype has been tested with children, young students and adults aged from 9 to 50 years, a total of about 150 people who have reviewed Riski Lavango as a game that is enjoyable, fun, and motivates the player toward learning about avalanches and to wanting to play again.
Thereafter, it has been reviewed by professionals from the Andorran Career Training School for Professional and Mountain Sports (EFPEM) and the Association for the Awareness of Snow and Avalanches (ACNA), which has expressed interest in using Riski Lavango in training issues with children.
The game is made up of
Components per game: box, 2 decks (60 skills cards + 58 danger and rewards cards) = 118 cards, 1 board, 1 dice, 5 single scorecards, a downloadable Android and IOS app, instruction sheet, 8 player characters.
How to play
Sage Entertainment is a young company with a mission of creating edutainment games in different formats and a variety of themes.
In the team the children participated, that you can see in the presentation videos, showing the unpacking of the game (unboxing) and how to play in the Spanish version. But there is also a growing network of adults (like a colony of ants), mostly residents in Andorra, that little country in the Pyrenees where the snow takes the leading role every winter.

Destination of the contributions
Our goal is to publish 1000 units of the game in subgroups of several languages, according to the demand. The languages considered a priori are: Catalan, Spanish, French, English, German, Italian, Dutch and Japanese.
Those other languages that have a demand of greater than 100 games between the various sponsors will have their version published. For requests related to languages, please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Printing expenses, rewards, shipping, commissions, translations, design and management account for almost all of the requirements.

Winter is coming, the Christmas holidays too. We are getting the winter clothing out, the ski equipment, the sleds, the snowshoes and we need to be well prepared.
This game can be an ideal Christmas present, although please bear in mind that the game will arrive a little later, given the dates. Moreover, during this campaign the game will get a discount of 33%.
Resilient societies are forged through education and learning, shaping best behaviour against the dangers of natural hazards. This game will help us all feel better prepared, while we have fun and enjoy special moments in the mountains.

Riski Lavango, in our view is an ideal game to be sponsored. The mountain environment obliges us as human beings to protect ourselves, equip ourselves and complete its natural setting. Any consultation, advice, suggestion, request, sponsorship plan ... is welcome.
As you can see there is a good package of rewards aimed at sponsorship opportunities, either in combination or on their own.

Among the sponsors of the unique rewards Ref 2, Ref 3 or Ref 4, a draw will be made to decide on which of the sponsors will have a playing character with the caricature of the sponsor within the game, or the lucky person will replace an existing character, that the other sponsors least prefer.
For the purposes of shipping, the Iberian Peninsula includes the mainland territories of Spain, Andorra and Portugal. Non-peninsular territories of Spain and Portugal are considered European Union.
Production calendar: Print order in January 2016. Rewards in January, February, March and April 2016.
When we reach our goal, we have various options to improve the game. One is to provide an extra scorecard and two additional characters, allowing play for up to six players.
But we would also love to honour the sponsors including all of their names at the bottom of the board in an aesthetically pleasing way.
Of course if the interest increases, we would also like to increase the production and number of games published.
Another possibility is to publish games in languages a priori not available.
