Lifelong is a photographic portrait project which delves deep into the stories underneath tattooes. Tattooed people´s skins are a portrait of their personality, a visible display of their inside and past experiences. I have invited different tattoed people to pose and tell their relationship with their own tattooes.
The purpose
The purpose of the project is to set up an exhibition in which the public will be able to know the meaning of the tattoes through the portraits and the the models' musings about them -the reasons to get their tattooes and their feelings about being tattooed. Many tattooed people understand their bodies as a work in permanent evolution; others choose very specific reasons to intervene in them in a more exceptional, particular way.
What will your donations be used for?
Your donations will finance the exhibition. It will include a 50x50cm framed photograph of each participant along with a text with their testimony.
In case we raised a higher amount than needed for the project, the exceeding funds will be assigned to the release of a book/catalogue with all the participants' images and testimonies.
About the rewards
Apart from appearing in the graphic part of the exhibition, you will receive one or more signed and numbered copies (dependant on your donation). You will be allowed to choose any images among those published on the project blog – https://paratodalavidaproject.wordpress.com
Edition limited to 25 copies (15x15 and 20x20 cm), 10 copies (30x30 cm.) 3 copies (50x50 cm.) signed and numbered by the author.
Printed in matt 100% cotton paper. High resolution, aging-resistant, acid-free paper.
Hand or postal delivery, shipping included, within a maximum of two weeks time.

At the beginning, the only intention of the project was the exhibition, but due to the amount of people willing to participate and the satisfaction we got from the results, I started a blog to share all these testimonies. Thus, the project will be opened as long as there are people who want to be a part of it.
Schedule
The rewards will take mostly two weeks to be delivered. My intention is to hand-deliver them on the day the exhibition is held, if possible. Otherwise, they will be mailed (shipping costs included)
The images for exhibition purpuses will take three weeks to be printed and framed.
The exhibition has not been put to date yet, but it will probably take place at the end of December 2015 or beginning of January 2016.
