[SLOVENŠČINA - DEUTSCH - CASTELLANO]
I have been on the road 2 months and drove 15.000 km from Seattle to San Diego and up to the Yukon. The series presents an intimate view of the experiences of a visitor in a foreign country. It has been presented in various exhibitions in Europe, USA and it also won 3 awards.
About the book:
The book will be published in an edition of 750. All books will be hand numbered and signed by me. There will be 3 staple bound booklets in a foldable box case. I decided to create 3 different journeys across the country instead of one book with more images in it. In each book there are pictures which are the same in every book (9) and then there are the changing pictures (30) that can be seen as the vast amount of possibilities that a journey can offer. Also if you open all the booklets on the same page, this alternative pictures function as triptychs, forming a unity.
All books will be equipped with an ISBN number.
I have been very fortunate to have James R. Reeves write the accompanying intro. James’s book A road to somewhere and his blog received wide acclaim in the US.

Collector’s edition:
The collector’s edition contains the book with engraved dedication + one of the 39 original Polaroids, taken on my journey across the USA. They have been taken with a SX-70 land camera. Each Polaroid is unique in an edition of only 1. With it comes a signed certificate of authenticity. This edition is reserved for the book numbers 1-39
The photographs are Lambda prints in limited editions:
10x10cm prints are a limited edition of 50.
30x30cm prints are a limited edtion of 15.
60x60cm prints are a limited edition of 3.
All prints go on a first come first serve basis. The sooner you pledge, the more options you have when selecting a picture. When the funding time on Verkami ends, I will go through the pledgers list and contact each one so he can select his picture.

Where does the money go?
The main part of the money will be for publishing the 3 booklets, each in an edition of 750, the paper and production of the box case. The rest will go for the laser engraving, following the fees for the text and the design.

[SLOVENŠČINA - ENGLISH - CASTELLANO]
Die Fotos entstanden wehrend der zweimonatigen Reise in der ich mehr als 15.000 km hinter mich legte - von Seattle bis San Diego und rauf in den Yukon. In der Fotoserie möchte ich dem Betrachter einen intimen blick eines Reisenden eröffnen. Die Fotos wurden auf mehreren Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen in Slowenien und in anderen europäischen Ländern präsentiert und wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet.
Über das Buch:
Das Buch wird in einer Auflage von 750 publiziert. Alle Exemplare werden von Hand nummeriert und signiert. Das Buch besteht aus drei kleinen Büchern, die in einer dekorativen Verpackung geliefert werden. Jedes Heft enthält 19 Fotos. Neun dieser Bilder werden immer wieder wiederholt, die restlichen 30 sind unterschiedlich. Der Grund dafür liegt darin, dass ich verschiedene Wege zeigen wollte auf die sich eine Reise entwickeln kann. Gleichzeitig bilden die Bücher aber auch eine Einheit – wenn man alle drei auf der selben Seite aufschlägt bilden sie ein Triptychon.
Alle Bücher werden mit einer ISBN Nummer ausgestattet.
Ich bin sehr froh, dass James R.Reeves den Einleitungstext schrieb. Sein Buch A road to somewhere und sein blog sind zurzeit, vor allem in den USA, sehr beliebt.

Wohin geht das Geld?
Der größte Teil des Geldes wird in den Druck der Bücher und des Etuis fließen. Dazu kommen die Kosten fürs gravieren, Lieferkosten sowie die Honorare für den Designer und den Autor des Textes.

Na poti sem bil 2 meseca in prevozil preko 15.000 km, od Seattla do San Diega in vse do pokrajine Yukon. Serija je bila zelo uspešno predstavljena na samostojnih in skupinskih razstavah, tako v Sloveniji, kot tudi v tujini.
O knjigi:
Knjiga bo izdana v nakladi 750 izvodov. Vsi izvodi bodo ročno oštevilčeni in podpisani. Knjiga je sestavljena iz treh knjižic, ki so shranjene v ličnem ovoju. Vsaka od knjižic vsebuje 19 fotografij. Od tega se devet fotografij vedno znova ponavlja, ostalih 30 je različnih. Koncept je zastavljen tako, da knjižice predstavljajo možne poti, kamor se potovanje lahko razvija, obenem pa delujejo tudi kot celota saj fotografije na enakih straneh tvorijo triptihe, ki so tako vizualno kot tudi vsebinsko povezani.
Vsi izvodi bodo opremljeni z mednarodno ISBN številko.
Zelo sem vesel, da je spremno besedilo napisal James A. Reeves, čigar knjiga A road to somewhere je trenutno zelo priljubljena v Ameriki in je poleg tega prodajna uspešnica na Amazonovem portalu.

Kam gre denar?

En los dos meses que he estado en la carretera conduje 15,000 kilómetros desde Seattle a San Diego y hasta el Yukon. La serie presenta una visión íntima de las experiencias de un visitante en un país extranjero. La serie ha sido presentada en varias exposiciones en Europa, EE.UU. y también ganó 3 premios.
Sobre el libro:
El libro será publicado en una edición de 750 copias. Todos los libros estarán numeradas a mano y firmadas por mí. Habrá 3 libretes encuadernados con grapas que vendrán en una caja sólida. Me decidí a crear 3 diferentes viajes por el país en lugar de un único libro con más imágenes en el mismo. En cada libro hay imágenes que son iguales en todos los libros (9) y luego están las imágenes cambiantes (30) lo que puede ser visto como la gran cantidad de posibilidades que puede ofrecer un viaje. Además, si se abren todos los libretes en la misma página, estas imagines determinadas funcionan como trípticos, formando una unidad.
Todos los libros vendrán con asignado número ISBN.
He sido muy afortunado de tener a James R. Reeves escribir la introducción. James acaparó con su libro A road to somewhere y con su blog una amplia aclamación en los EE.UU.
