The Zombie Company es la compañía que funda y dirige Carlos Be, autor y director teatral galardonado con el Premio Serrantes 2008, el Premio Borne 2006 y el Premio Caja España 2001, entre otros. "Exhumación" es el nuevo montaje de The Zombie Company.
Sus obras anteriores se han visto en varias ocasiones en Barcelona, donde nace la compañía, y recientemente en Madrid, ciudad donde reside actualmente y a la que llega por primera vez con el montaje de "Achicorias" al Teatro de las Aguas en el año 2008. Otros montajes de la compañía son "My favorite things", "Torniquet", "Noel Road 25: a genius like us" y "Eloísa".



¿QUÉ ES "EXHUMACIÓN"?
"Exhumación" es el sexto espectáculo en el que se embarca The Zombie Company, una obra escrita y dirigida por Carlos Be e interpretada por Carmen Mayordomo, Gabriel Moreno e Iván Ugalde.

¿DE QUÉ TRATA "EXHUMACIÓN"?
A través de un descubrimiento fortuito, tres investigadores dan con la pista de los hechos históricos que inspiraron a William Shakespeare para escribir "Hamlet". En su periplo, nuestros protagonistas profundizarán en las hazañas e intrigas reales de los personajes históricos que la mayor obra de la literatura dramática ha dado a conocer como Hamlet, su padre y la reina Gertrude. 
Se trata, pues, de la exhumación de "Hamlet", pero no sólo de la obra y su protagonista, sino también de lo que se oculta tras este misterio: el origen del teatro y el mundo.
"Exhumación" propone un viaje trepidante al alma que comparten realidad y ficción.

¿POR QUÉ OS NECESITAMOS?
"Exhumación" nace del encuentro de Carlos Be, director y autor del texto, con los actores que integran el elenco; nace de una necesidad común de contar, reflexionar y transmitir; nace de la pasión por el teatro. 
Somos conscientes de la precariedad generalizada que acosa a las artes escénicas en este momento tan particular y confiados por el interés que pueda suscitar nuestro proyecto, queremos realizar una apuesta crowdfunding. Gracias a esta recaudación podremos asumir los costes de producción relativos a escenografía, vestuario, impresión gráfica y costes de estreno. Gracias a vosotros.
En otros ámbitos, ya contamos con la colaboración de grandes profesionales que nos permitirán ajustar el presupuesto a lo absolutamente necesario. Entre todos podemos hacer posible "Exhumación".

 

"Exhumation" is the sixth spectacle in which there embarks The Zombie Company, a work written and directed by Carlos Be and interpreted by Carmen Mayordomo, Gabriel Moreno and Iván Ugalde.

 

OF WHAT DOES IT TALK "EXHUMATION"? 

Across a fortuitous discovery, three investigators meet on the track of the historical facts that inspired William Shakespeare to write "Hamlet". In their periplus, our protagonists will penetrate into the exploits and royal intrigues of the historical prominent figures that the major work of the dramatic literature has announced as Hamlet, his father and the queen Gertrude.

It's a play, so, of the exhumation of "Hamlet", but not only of the work and his protagonist, but also of what hides itself after this mystery: the origin of the theatre and the world. "Exhumation" proposes a trepidant trip to the soul that reality and fiction share.

 

WHY DO WE NEED YOU? 

"Exhumation" is born of meeting Carlos Be, the director and author of the text, with the actors who integrate the cast; it is born of a common need to tell, to think and transmit; it is born of the passion for theatre. We are conscious of the widespread precariousness that it harasses to the scenic arts at this moment so particular and entrusted for the interest that could provoke our project, want's to realize a bet crowdfunding.

Thanks to this project we will be able to assume the costs of production relative to scenery, costumes, graphical impression and costs of premiere. Thanks to you.
